I CAT Goals

I CAT is a team of dedicated volunteers working to:

 

  •  Increase the adoptions of cats at the Independence Animal Shelter.
  •  Form an active foster program for shelter kittens too young to be adopted.
  •  Increase the quality of life for cats held at the shelter.
  •  Reduce the population of homeless cats in the community.
  •  Educate the community on responsible cat care.
  •  Encourage owners to keep cats as indoor pets.
